This add-on allows you to access the buttons on your Waveshare 2.7 inch ePaper Display in your ProtoStax Enclosure, or mount the ePaper Display to the Top Plate if not using it as a HAT. 

The add-on comes with a Top Plate that has button and mounting holes for the Waveshare 2.7 inch ePaper Display, along with acrylic rod button extensions. 

With this add-on, you'll have access to the 4 buttons available on the Waveshare 2.7 inch Display HATs with the attractive acrylic buttons. The acrylic rods are flared slightly at one end - the portion that stays inside the enclosure. This ensures that they won't pop out when the case is turned upside down. 

It also includes mounting holes for the Waveshare display. This allows you to mount the ePaper display directly to the top plate of your enclosure. This is useful if you don't intend to use the display as a HAT directly (for example, with a ProtoStax Enclosure for Raspberry Pi Zero or ProtoStax Enclosure for Raspberry Pi A+). You can still mount the display to the top plate, and use the side connector to wire it up to your Raspberry Pi or other device.  

Simply replace the Top Plate of your ProtoStax Enclosure with the one from this add-on. The acrylic rods sit on the buttons of the display and protrude through the button holes to act as buttons.

Stackable

All ProtoStax cases are compatible with each other and can be stacked side-by-side (horizontally) or one on top of the other (vertically). Mix-and-match multiple ProtoStax cases and put together a larger enclosure from the individual ones! Our Raspberry Pi + Breadboard, or Raspberry Pi + Arduino enclosures are popular bundles. You can also mix-and-match various Raspberry Pi enclosures (A+, B/B+, Zero enclosures to build your hybrid cluster with whatever Pis you have lying around!)
